Salmon
- 4 salmon fillets (5–6 ounces each)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil or melted butter
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Boursin Cheese Topping
- 1 round of Boursin cheese (5.2 oz), garlic & fine herbs
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- 1 tablespoon olive oil (half of the total olive oil)
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) to get it ready for baking the salmon.
- Prepare the Baking Dish: Lightly grease a baking dish or line it with parchment paper to prevent the salmon from sticking while baking.
- Make the Cheese Mixture: In a bowl, combine the Boursin cheese, minced garlic, lemon zest, lemon juice, and half of the olive oil until smooth and well blended.
- Prepare the Salmon: Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Drizzle the remaining olive oil over the fillets and season them evenly with salt and black pepper.
- Assemble in the Baking Dish: Place the salmon fillets skin-side down in the baking dish if they have skin. Spread the prepared Boursin cheese mixture evenly over the top of each fillet.
- Bake the Salmon: Bake in the preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
- Garnish and Serve: Remove from the oven, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve immediately for a creamy, flavorful meal.
Notes
- Ensure the salmon is fresh and of even thickness for consistent cooking.
- You can substitute olive oil with melted butter for a richer flavor.
- Adjust garlic quantity as per your taste preference.
- Check the salmon at 15 minutes to avoid overcooking.
- Garnish with lemon slices for added citrus freshness if desired.
